How to Replace the Throttle
You can get assistance from motor to propel the ebike forward by turning the throttle.
ATTENTION: If you cannot install the part correctly, and follow these steps safely, we suggest you find a certified bike mechanic for assembly, maintenance and repair.
Tools and parts: the new throttle with waterproof cable, 3mm Allen wrench, a cup of hot water, wooden hammer, gloves.
Step:
1.Remove the rigth handlebar grip cover and grip carefully and put them aside.handlebar grip installation guide
2.Loosen the throttle with 3mm Allen wrench, unplug the throttle connector, you can see that two sides are yellow.
3.Install the new throttle and throttle sleeve, adjust the throttle angle to your most comfortable position, then tighten the throttle bolt with 3mm Allen wrench.
4.Locate the two sides of the yellow throttle connector, carefully align the inernal pins and notches and external arrows, press directly together without twisting.
Reinstall the right handlebar grip and grip cover in order (handlebar grip installation guide）
Inspection:
1.Check that the throttle has been installed tightly, and the connector is securely connected.
2.Press the button “i”to turn on the e-bike system, check that the function of the throttle.
